Macaroon Ice Cream: Negative Celsius

Whenever we are down, we always look for something to attempt us be happy. And there are one thing we always think of is 'Ice cream'. Especially, for hot country like Malaysia Ice cream always be the best choice to go with. 

There is a new type of ice cream that come with macaroon. It is called 'MACAROON ICE CREAM'. Moreover, there are one store which based outside of Sunway College so, we got chanced to try on it.

Their shop is base on the pink truck that is quite unique and cute there always located at side gate of Suway College.

 

In addition, there have 6 color/ flavor of macaroon for you to choose they also have 7 of ice cream flavor to go with and finally the toppings. 

  

 For our first trying of it, we choose to mix our macaroon with two color which are pastel pink and blue to make it more colorful. For ice cream flavor we choose to try out their vanilla because that is classic. And we do choose marshmallow topping to mix it up with our colorful macaroon. As can see from the picture, we think this Macaroon Ice cream is so girly because of their color. And it costs Rm 9.50

However, for first trying this ice cream we think this ice cream is very duper sweet! but if we eat it together with the macaroon is actually can reduces the sweetness.

Booza Ice Cream

Hello everyone, we just realize we have posted so many posts already. which is means we were went to so many of ice cream stores around Sunway area. However, we hope this blog will help people who wanted to try out the new ice cream but scare of their taste, price and so on. 

Moreover, this post we will talk about the new ice cream store which is quite different from others. This ice cream is was imported from Turkey and we guess many people do not dare to try it rite?

This ice cream called ' BOOZA ICE CREAM'

Booza ice cream is handmade using a combination of authentic ingredients – Sahlab or Salep*, the ground roots of the orchid, Orchus macula, and Mastica, the gum from the Mastic tree.

They do serve a several of flavor such as Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry and so on. we ordered chocolate flavor to try because as you know those flavor is a standard flavor people will purchase. Ans also, they is different prices like 1 scoop is Rm6 2 scoops is Rm10 and 3 scoops Rm14. They do have toppings too but you need to pay extra for it.

However, the taste of ice cream we think is some kind of a chocolate mixing up with the nuts. it abit wired *LOL* NOT MUCH LIKE IT.

Dip & Dip Chocolate Cafe

Dip & Dip is located at lower ground 2 in Sunway Pyramid. They are very well known for their chocolate desserts. 

During the weekends, they are fully packed. 

They have a lot of place to sit but the arrangement of the seats are very cramp and it is very hard for people to move around as the shop is quite small. 

They serve really all kinds of chocolate desserts such as cakes, ice cream, waffle and many more. 

The staff are friendly but sadly they only have a few staff that are able to attend to the customers and when there are a lot of customers things gets a little messy. 

We tried the single scoop ice cream which is vanilla flavor and chocolate flavor. 

The price is only RM3.50 per cup it is really very cheap. 

The ice cream comes quite presentable but the taste is very normal. 

They are just using cheap and normal ice cream in this cafe. The ice cream has nothing special not smooth and not delicious. 

Price was really not worth for such ice cream because even Mc Donald's ice cream is better than theirs and cheaper than their ice cream. 

We do not recommend this cafe

Gelato Fruity

Gelato Fruity is one of those few ice creams that uses fruits to produce. So let us try out how unique when fruits are turned into ice cream 

They really do have a lot of varieties of flavors to choose from. 

Their staff are really friendly as they are willing to give out free samples for customers to try out the taste and then only do the purchasing. 

Their staff recommended me to try out their pineapple orange and their wild berry yogurt. 

They are located at first floor in Sunway Pyramid. 

There were not many people lining up for their ice cream. This could be due to their pricing as it was quite expensive. Even though their cheapest ice cream was 100 gram for RM6.80 but 100 gram was actually really little. 

I tried choose a combination of two flavors which cost me RM9.80. 

This is really expensive for such a small portion of ice cream. 

The taste is really not bad, very refreshing as it was like the fruit was just harvest one day ago. 

The ice cream was also really smooth. It was not sweet either just like eating pure fruit. 

Even though it is like pure fruit but price of pure fruit does not even cost that much. 

Their environment is not bad either as they provide a place for customers to sit down and hang out after their purchase.

Delicious

Delicious is consider one of the best place to have a meal at Sunway Pyramid as their food are served with much passion. Therefore, we would like to tried out their ice cream. 

Their waiter and waitress are very friendly and welcome all their customers into their shop. 

They attend to customers very fast. 

The shop is quite spacious and the environment was really very good for those who want to come for a date.

 They serve customers with mineral water first. 

Here comes their ice cream. They only serve one kind of ice cream which is this which has strawberry and chocolate as the topping, in the middle is vanilla ice cream and at the bottom is some kind of biscuit which is sweet and crunchy. 

The combination that they provided is really impressive. When i had my first bite I would like to have more of it as it was really too delicious.

However, the pricing is really quite expensive as it cost RM18 without GST. After GST its about RM20 just for one ice cream. 

Even though I just order one ice cream without anything else, their staff there did not give me any not welcome look and served me really well.

Daily Fresh

Earlier today we spotted an ice cream shop, located in the F floor in sunway pyramid, the ice cream shop is known as Daily Fresh. Daily Fresh provides many kinds of dessert such as, gelato, ice kimo and yoghurt. And you can get each scoop for Rm 5.90! Ingredients that go into this product are imported directly from Italy so that the true flavour of authentic Italian gelato has been retained.

One of the famous ice cream here is the gelato tempo, Gelato Tempo is made using the worldwide patented technology “One Shot”, a unique invention which dispenses a perfect portion for each cup in a hygienic fashion.Available in 9 flavours: Yogurt Original, Yogurt Mango, Yogurt Strawberry, Yogurt Melon, Chocolate, Mango, Strawberry Green Tea and Black Sesame.

Gelato Tempo is produced based on the combination of traditional recipes and modern influences for rich and creamy texture yet low in fat and calories than standard ice cream, making it a perfect choice for those who seeks for a healthier dessert.
