Shojikiya: Japanese Ice-cream

Shojikiya is known as a Japanese Food Specialty Store and now they have several stores based in Malaysia.

Based on our survey we found out the shop in Sunway Pyramid.  They have so much stuff there, ranging from plum drinks, little sweet cookies, cake mix, chocolate, sweets and of course ice cream. The range of the ice cream starts from rm 5.9 to rm 10. 

They have many types and different shape of ice cream for you to try moreover some of their ice cream is quite unique flavor. On that day, we decided to try one of their ice cream and our decision is..........  matcha ice cream.

Marunaga Macha Monaka Ice Cream @ RM6.90

This is our first time trying this type of ice cream, we think the bread outside of ice cream is look like a waffle however when we bite on it we realize the texture of bread is quite soft and had a very good smell even it was frozen.

Moreover, for the ice cream itself, it has a very strong taste of green tea and we think it's not so sweet for the texture of ice cream we think is quite soft and not easy to melt.
